Dental bridges

Tooth deterioration, extensive bone loss and a broken tooth often do not allow the rest of the tooth to be preserved. Removing a tooth causes a gap or space between teeth that can be fixed with a dental bridge or with a prosthetic crown on the dental implant.

The dental bridge is placed by preparing the enamel and dentin of two adjacent teeth in an appropriate manner. Thus prepared dental crowns, also known as supporting teeth, serve as pillars for side crowns in the dental bridge, and provide support to one or more prosthetic joints between the supporting teeth.
